Job Purpose:
Maintain information technology strategies by researching and implementing technological operational solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Keep operational files up to date and securely stored.
Ensure a stable IT infrastructure environment is maintained.
Do requisitions and memos for all IT related matters.
Prioritising and managing many open cases at one time
Rapid reply to all emails, allocating logs, follow-up on logs and ensure that all logs are closed.
Ensure support provision for LAN and WAN users.
Installing new hardware (servers, computer workstations, printers etc.)
Manage, plan and facilitate sound applications operation through maintenance and
development of data sources so that full benefit of the ERP systems can be achieved.
Manage and ensure effective virus software implementation and maintenance.
Ensure that the help-desk system is effective and logging all call on the system.
Managing external backup drives.
Ensure that accurate infrastructure inventory is kept and keep records of the Company staff’s
hardware
Providing asset registers for all entrances.
Monitor Bitdefender reports and scanning flash drives (Infrastructure Security Management).
Manage, provide support and coaching to interns which contributes to the achievement of improved performance.
Testing and fixing fault equipment.

Online business support
Some marketing and social media skills to support the organisation’s out-sourced PR agency.
Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12
3 years experience
Information Technology skills essential
Microsoft Certified System Expert
A+
N+
Excellent computer proficiency
Good communication skills
Telephone etiquette
Good organisational skills
