In partnership with Gift of the Givers, CAFSA handed over sanitisers to NPOs focused on Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and people with special abilities in Gauteng. The santiser was contributed by Sasol.
Responding to the significant increase in demand for hygiene products, Sasol has fast tracked the production of a new unique alcohol blend, which is safe and suitable for the manufacture of disinfectants and hand sanitisers.
Sasol has worked tirelessly, and formed strategic partnerships with social justice organisations and government entities, to ensure that this production reaches the targeted vulnerable communities and ‘hot spot’ areas, while safeguarding the frontline teams such as medical staff, patients and visitors.
On Friday 24 July, Sasol sanitiser was collected from Gift of the Givers warehouse in Bramley by the following NPOs:
· Nisaa Institute for Women’s Development (500 litres)
· Door of Hope Children’s Mission in Johannesburg, South Africa (50 litres)
· Blind SA (500 litres)

We are proud to work with Sasol and Gift of the Givers this Nelson Mandela Month as they continue to make every effort to contribute to the ongoing efforts around combatting the COVID-19 response.
