Funding Facilitation

funding-facilitation

CAF Southern Africa is cause neutral.  We do not do fundraising and neither do we favour one NGO on our books over another.  We respond to donor/companies needs and based on those we make suggestions for funding focus areas.  However the final decision is always with the donor/company.

Once payroll giving programmes are established we continuously encourage increased participation - but that can never be in regard to any specific organisation - our role is to encourage and support the practice of giving the choice on end beneficiary is for the donor/company.

If NGOs wish to encourage companies to increase employees' contributions via payroll giving we encourage them to approach those companies themselves - we merely play an advisory role when requested and then administer the funds on behalf of donors/companies.

NGO Validations

validation

We conduct independent reviews of CSOs so that prospective donors can make informed decisions about their giving and social investment.

Accountability of organisations in the civil domain is a pressing issue for funders and other stakeholders. We have developed a database of validated organisations which we can share with clients, and we conduct validations on request for clients.
