A civil society initiative, led by Ms Graca Machel, is focussing on the reconstruction of Haiti following the devastating earthquake that claimed more than 200 000 lives. The campaign seeks to contribute towards medium to long-term reconstruction of communities in Haiti. To learn more about the initiative click here. Haiti Earthquake Appeals from CAF International Network

A devastating earthquake measuring 7.0 on the Richter scale has hit the impoverished Caribbean nation of Haiti, leaving tens of thousands dead and up to three million affected.
